Your body, your pace

Your Body, Your Pace Cervical Screening

Your Body, Your Pace is a relaxed, safe space to discuss cervical screening, and how your appointment can be tailored to your body, your pace

You’re invited to a friendly, community-based coffee morning focused on women’s health, wellbeing, and cervical screening — delivered in a calm, supportive, and understanding way.

We know that cervical screening can feel worrying or uncomfortable for many women, and that past experiences, life pressures, or lack of information can make it harder to attend. These sessions are designed to gently reduce those barriers by creating a safe, respectful space where you can learn, ask questions, and take things at your own pace.

What to Expect

  • Relaxed, informal sessions about cervical screening and looking after your health
  • Information shared by trained local practice nurses using a trauma-informed approach
  • A chance to ask questions — or just listen, if you prefer
  • Optional access to book your screening appointment
  • Tea & coffee available, along with a quite space should you need it

There is no pressure to have a screening. You are welcome to attend just for the information, conversation, and support.

A Space That Puts You First

The sessions are about choice, dignity, and feeling supported. Whether you’re attending to learn more, build confidence, or simply connect with local services, you’ll be met with understanding and respect.

Who is this for?
